Some work for you…

Easter is here and the sun is shining, during the next day’s I’m mostly absent, so here are some work for you. 😉

I need some more feedback about the album style. At http://nextgen.boelinger.com/ you can watch a first version for a album overview, but it could be nicer, I rethink to take a shadow option or a different layout, did anybody have a good idea ?

Any feedback are welcome…

Have some great days 🙂

for the moment, I don’t like 🙂 too “old html gallery” like. Waiting for and advanced version 🙂

i like the appearence of the “compact” version, and i’m sure the “extend” version is easily style-able with css.

one thing i would suggest is cleaning the generated code up a bit. Instead of all the DIVs it might be good (better semantics) to use a UL (where each gallery is an LI) or even a series of DL’s. Then the gallery title could be a h2 within the LI or something.

i definately like the idea of having 2 options though, normal and compact.

the functions are nice and simple too. i like it so far.

also, i was reminded of a wordpress gallery system i saw a while ago which had all the simple qualities of a good gallery plugin. Its called IImage gallery.

it lets you apply filters to a set of photos (much like your “web20” function) like this…

Its an old plugin but maybe you could get some inspiration from it.

Yes !!! like very much the “flickR style” … and if you work on API to show flickR album with this design on our own site … it would be great. For albums, when you click on them … it would be nice to have like the presentation of gallery to have a choice to “change” the page” or load a gallery inside a div with ajax 🙂
